There are lots of ways for you to see Bluebird Man – here’s a list of upcoming screenings!

April 22nd, 2015 – Another Wild and Scenic Film Festival screening!  This event in Salt Lake City, UT will be hosted by the Summit Land Conservancy and will be attended by Bluebird Man director/producer Neil Paprocki.

May 9th and 12th, 2015 – Green Film Festival in Seoul in Seoul, South Korea! Our international premiere of Bluebird Man will be happening at this amazing film festival in Seoul, South Korea! The film has been translated into Korean and has two screening dates lined up for the festival – May 9th at 1:30pm in Baseurak Hall and May 12th at 12:00 noon at the Seoul Museum of History.

June 6th, 2015 – The Northwest Emmy Award Ceremony in Seattle, WA. Although our film won’t be screening at the event, we are looking forward to the ceremony to see if Bluebird Man will receive an Emmy Award!

Past Screenings:

March 14th, 2015 – Sierra Nevada Film Festival in Murphys, CA.  We’re very excited to be a part of this unique festival tucked up in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California!  Screenings start at 5pm on March 14th.

March 7th, 2015 – The (traveling) Wild and Scenic Film Festival in Boise, ID.  The Land Trust of the Treasure Valley is hosting a night of films selected from the Wild and Scenic Film Festival at the Egyptian Theatre in downtown Boise!  This was an amazing screening of the film! A sold-out crowd of almost 800 people gave Al a standing ovation at the end of the film!

February 28th, 2015 – the Idaho Media Awards in Boise, ID.  Bluebird Man was selected as a finalist in the documentary category for the Idaho Media Awards!  They’ll be playing a clip from the film at the awards ceremony in Boise.  The excellent Add the Words documentary took home the award for best Idaho-produced documentary, we were honored to be considered one of the three finalists!

February 19-21, 2015 – The Colorado Environmental Film Festival in Golden, Colorado.  Apparently February is our month for screenings in Colorado!  We are very excited to be a part of this year’s prestigious festival in beautiful Golden, CO.

February 6-7, 2015 – The Frozen River Film Festival in Lake City, Colorado.  This year’s festival will be held in partnership with the Lake City Ice Climbing Festival – very cool!  We’re happy that Bluebird Man will be a part of this very cool film fest!

January 18th, 2015 at 7pm PT – Broadcast premiere on Oregon Public Television‘s OPB-Plus channel!  We are very excited to have our film airing on Oregon Public Broadcasting – this will be the first of many broadcasts on OPB!

January 15-18, 2015 – The 13th Annual Wild and Scenic Film Festival in Nevada City, CA.  Bluebird Man will be screening Friday, Jan. 16th at 6:45pm and Saturday, Jan. 17th at 9:30am.  Our screenings at this festival were a huge success!  Check out pictures on our facebook page.

January 12th, 2015 – 6:30 – the MK Nature Center in Boise, ID.  Filmmaker Matthew Podolsky will be giving a short presentation on wildlife filmmaking, followed by a screening of Bluebird Man.  This will be a part of the monthly speaker series organized by the Idaho Master Naturalist program – it will be free and open to the public.

October 18th, 2014 – 7pm – The Wildlife Conservation Film Festival in New York City.  Bluebird Man will be screening with two additional wildlife documentaries – “Meerkats: How they Cuddle, Dream and Sleep” from Germany and “The Sea that Becomes a Desert” from Iran.  Filmmaker Matthew Podolsky will be at the screening for a Q&A session.  Click here to see photos from the screening!

October 11th, 2014 – 10:30am and again at 11:30am – The Fernhill Wetlands Birds & Brew Festival in Forest Grove, OR.  We’re excited to be a part of this wonderful event which is organized by the Friends of Fernhill Wetlands and the Audubon Society of Portland!

August 23rd, 2014 from 9am to 3pm – The Texas Bluebird Society’s Summer Bluebird Symposium in Mansfield, TX.  This promises to be a fun event with guest speakers Keith Krider, with his presentation Bluebirds and More, and Jim Varnum, with his presentation Native Plant Gardening to Attract Birds and Butterflies.

August 14th, 2014 at 7pm MT – Special screening for the Southwestern Idaho Birders Association at the Deer Flat Refuge visitor’s center in Nampa, ID.

June 13th, 2014 at 8pm MT – Screening event in downtown Boise at the Boise Centre in collaboration with the North American Bluebird Society and the Golden Eagle Audubon Society.  This event was a huge success with approximately 200 people in attendance!  Check out photos from this event on our facebook page.

May 24th, 2014 at 4pm MT/3pm PT – Broadcast Premiere on Idaho Public Television!

April 13th, 2014 at 3pm MT – International Wildlife Film Festival screening in Missoula, MT.  This was a huge success – see photos on our facebook page!
